The ancient Goddess Ishtar, also known as Eastre, and now known as Easter, is the archetypal fertility rite of passage, of sex, and intercourse known as "sacred prostitution." OESTRogen, OESTRE, EOSTRE!
ĒOSTRE or Ostara (Old English: Ēastre, Northumbrian dialect Ēostre; Old High German:) Eostre (can be be phonetically pronounced OYSTER, ESTHER, EASTER) is a Germanic divinity who is the namesake of the festival of Easter! see my video The Truth About Easter: Fertility, Sex and Symbolism.
The ancient Goddess Ishtar, also known and pronounced as Eastre, Oestre (OYSTER) and Ostara (STAR), now known as Easter, was really a fertility celebration of sex, and intercourse.

Old English Ēostre continues into modern English as Easter and derives from Proto-Germanic *austrōn meaning 'DAWN', itself a descendent of the Proto-Indo-European root *aus-, meaning 'TO SHINE' (modern English EAST also derives from this root, hence we have the EASTERN STAR, or the MORNING (dawn) STAR, Lucifer, Lucere (Light Bringer) the Morning Star (Lucy in the sky) which is Venus because she rises in the EAST! The EASTERN STAR! Aster, astro (STAR), eASTRE, Ishtar, Thus we also have the Greek name ESTHER, from Hebrew ESTER, from Persian sitareh "STAR," related to Avestan star- (see star).
This is the archetype of the MOTHER OF THE DAWN, and as such, the MOTHER OF THE SUN GOD, hence the QUEEN OF HEAVEN!
The goddess name Ēostre is linguistically cognate with numerous other dawn goddesses attested among Indo-European language-speaking peoples.
We can phonetically pronounce the name as OYSTER, Which is EXACTLY why #oysters are considered an "aphrodisiac" (from the Goddess #Aphrodite / Venus, sex, Love, Romance, Beauty, fertility) because oysters, also known as mussels are a direct representation of the female "LOVE MUSCLE!"

THE PASSOVER and REBIRTH!
The paschal full moon (remember this for later on) refers to the ecclesiastical FULL MOON of the northern spring used in the determination of the date of Easter. The name "paschal" is derived from "Pascha", a transliteration of the Aramaic word meaning Passover. The date of Easter is determined as the first Sunday after the "paschal full moon" falling on or after the Spring Equinox (March 21), which is when the SUN has just PASSED OVER the equinoctial axis and is now fully entering the season of summer when the light has overcome the darkness of the winter season when it was in its ember or tomb phase and at the passover, the sun, the LIGHT OF THE WORLD has finally been resurrected or fully reborn as it gains strength and passes over the equinoxial axis, which I explain more in my full article here >>

This day continues a long pagan tradition of celebrating the emergence of life from the darkness of winter, with its symbolic egg from which the sun was said to be born.
THE COSMIC EGG:

Easter eggs, also called Paschal eggs,[1] are eggs that are decorated for the Christian feast of Easter, which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus.
As such, Easter eggs are common during the season of Eastertide (Easter season). The oldest tradition, which continues to be used in Central and Eastern Europe, is to use dyed and painted chicken eggs.Although eggs, in general, were a traditional symbol of fertility and rebirth,[2] in Christianity, for the celebration of Eastertide, Easter eggs symbolize the empty tomb of Jesus, from which Jesus was resurrected.

Again , this is symbolic of sex by way of the root of TEUE, 2, the act of 2 coming together to CREATE, with the root of TUM, to SWELL, BULGE, intumescence (n.)

The TOMB comes from the TUMULUS MOUND, the sacred BURIAL MOUND, the WOMB of the earth mother!
This is the ATUM (underworld or nether regions) of ancient egyptian theology. Its A TOMB of ATUM, coming from the TUMmy (WOMB) OF THE MOTHER GODDESS. Which is why the WOMB or TUMMY of the mother or the "MUMMY" (mom, mum, mommy, mummy etc) SWELLS UP when she's PREGNANT. This is the meaning of the mythological sacred primordial MOUND OF THE GODDESS OF CREATION!
The female mons veneris or mons pubis is latin for "MOUNDS of Love, MOUND of VENUS, or PUBIC MOUND." " In human anatomy, and in mammals in general, the mons pubis (also known simply as the mons, and known specifically in females as the mons Venus or mons veneris), is a rounded mass of fatty tissue or mound of flesh, found over the pubic symphysis of the pubic bones," and is certainly worthy of its linguistic and symbolic roots of VENERIS "BEAUTY, LOVE, DESIRE", linked to VENERATION "PRAISE, WORSHIP, REKNOWN, REVERENCE, PROFOUNDEST RESPECT," and yoni, from Sanskrit, "female sexual principle as an object of veneration," literally "VULVA, WOMB."
This is why the CLITORIS means THE SIDE OF A HILL! (see graphics above)

The GODDESS is associated with the FERTILITY of the female OVARIES and thus EGGS, and the fertility of the BUNNY. So of course this is why today we still have the ancient ritual of the Easter Bunny and the fertility of springtime, and of course this is why we have the seXXXy playboy fertility BUNNY!

The moon Rabbit is a common lore amongst ancient cultures from all areas of the world! Thus the FULL PASCHAL MOON shows us the BUNNY AND THE EGG of REBIRTH!

In East Asian folklore, the rabbit is seen as pounding with a mortar and pestle, but the contents of the mortar differ among Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese folklore.

China, yet today, uses dyed or colored eggs in their sacred festival. In Japan, an ancient custom has been to make their sacred egg a hard brazen color. In Northern Europe in pagan times, eggs were colored and used as symbols of the goddess Easter. The illustration shows two ways in which the pagans represented their sacred eggs. Their dyed eggs were used as sacred offerings at the Easter season.
Says the Encyclopedia Britannica: "The egg as a symbol of fertility and of renewed life goes back to the ancient Egyptians and Persians, who had also the custom of coloring and eating eggs during their spring festival." None can dispute the fact that the egg as a sacred symbol has been a part of pagan festivities from ancient times. "

In Shamanic traditions of the northern latitudes, the children would hunt the amanita muscaria mushroom under the fir (CHRISTMAS) trees and collect the egg shaped bulbs into baskets for the community.
THE OWL AND THE VESICA PISCIS (ICHTHYS, FISH!)
Ishtar is also the ancient OWL goddess of fertility and sex, also associated with Inanna or black moon Lilith.
And of course this is why she has the owl's feet and wings.
" Semiramis claimed that she was immaculately conceived. She taught that the moon was a goddess that went through a 28 day cycle and ovulated when full. She further claimed that she came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River as she emerged as the moon fertility goddess Ishtar.
This was to have happened at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox. Semiramis became known as "Ishtar" which is pronounced "Easter", and her moon egg became known as "Ishtar's" egg." Ishtar soon became pregnant and claimed that it was the rays of the sun-god Baal that caused her to conceive. The son that she brought forth was named Tammuz."

So OF COURSE this is why we always see Ishtar/Inanna/Lilith with the OWLS and the MOON of the dark nighttime. And this is why the wicca or witchcraft ☽O☾ is always associated with the sacred owl and the moon goddess, beacause we all KNOW that womens mentrual cycles are ruled by the PERIODS OR CYCLES OF THE MOON! So now you know why the sacred RABBIT, a symbol of the MOON, is associated with the GODDESS!
As I covered in my Symbols of Power video presentation series, the RABBIT or the CONEY, her CUNNY, coming by way of Latin CUNNUS "female pudenda" (also, vulgarly, "a woman"), is etymologically linked with CUNT.
And OF COURSE, this is why the OWL'S FACE is the very same geometry of the sacred goddess vulva, the vesica piscis, which we ALL know is the symbol of Christ, the fish, in the age of Pisces, the fish, so of course this is why we always see Jesus depicted inside the goddess vesica piscis in sacred artwork and christian architecture!

"Fish, Friday, and the Spring Festival
... each Friday many Catholics abstain from meat (substituting fish in its place) supposedly in remembrance of the Friday crucifixion. Roman Catholics in the United States are no longer required by their church to abstain from meat on Fridays (as formerly) - except during Lent - nevertheless many still follow the custom of fish on Friday...
The word "Friday" comes from the name of "Freya", who was regarded as the goddess of peace, joy and FERTILITY by the ancient pagans. And as the symbol of her fertility, the FISH was regarded as being sacred to her! How the fish has from the very early times been a symbol of fertility. It was a well known symbol of fertility among the ancient Babylonians, as well as the Assyrians, Phoenicians, the Chinese, and others.
The very word "fish" comes from the original word "dag" implying increase or fecundity. The reason the fish was used as a symbol of fertility is seen by the simple fact that it has a very high reproduction rate. For example, a single cod fish annually spawns upwards of 9,000,000 eggs; the flounder, 1,000,000; the sturgeon, 7,000,000; the perch, 400,000; the mackerel, 500,000; the herring, 10,000; etc. And so, from ancient times, the fish has been a symbol of sexual fertility, and thus was associated with the goddess of fertility - Freya (Venus, Ishtar, Inanna) - Friday! Now we are beginning to see the real significance of Friday and fish.
The Romans called the goddess of sexual fertility by the name of Venus. And thus it is from the name of the goddess Venus that our modern words "venereal" and "venereal disease" have come. Friday was regarded as her sacred day, because it was believed that the planet Venus ruled the first hour of Friday and thus it was called dies Veneris. And to make the significance complete, the fish was also regarded as being sacred to her. "
" In view of these things concerning Friday being named after the goddess of sexual fertility, Friday being that day from olden times was regarded as her sacred day, and since FISH was her sacred symbol; it seems more than a mere coincidence that to this day, Catholics are taught that Friday is a special day, a day of abstinence from meat, a day to eat fish!"

And of course, we can also find the sacred fertility owl in the elite freemasonic layout of the capitol at Washington DC and Bohemian Grove.
The epithet of Ishtar or Egyptian Anat is symbolically depicted as the ascended sacred bird, harnessing, subduing or taming the twin beasts, representing the lower, basal animalistic impulses or desires of nature which are to be overcome by the student or practitioner of the sacred teachings of the divine mysteries. This is the origin and true meaning of the Whore of Babylon who rides the beast, epithet of Scarlett Harlot Phoenician Goddess Europa who rode the beast Zeus in the form of the sacred Bull God.
We all KNOW that the sacred owl is also the symbol for wisdom, because it sits on the wise old OAK TREE, or the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE, where the LOG comes from, which of course, is the very etymology of LOGic, and the LOGY suffix in our words, which means "the study of," just like the very word etymoLOGY means the STUDY of ROOT (sacred TREE) meanings, which comes from greek LOGOS, meaning "to reason, words, speech, discourse."

So we use our PHALLIC WOODEN pencil which comes from the HARD LOG of LOGIC from the sacred PHALLIC TREE of KNOWLEDGE to LOG down our LOGIC on the paper, or the papyrus, which also comes from the sacred TREE of KNOWLEDGE.
And of course we all KNOW that in biblical context, to "KNOW" someone, means to be intimate with them, as in sex, which is why we say "I want to get to KNOW you, girl!" meaning to get intimate with you.
THE EASTER BUNS!
The biblical sexual knowledge is why we have all these holidays incorporating the HOT, MOIST STICKY BUNS drenched and drizzled or ANOINTED with the white creamy glaze or icing on the sacred cakes or BUNS of the fertility goddess!
This is symbolic of the ancient practice of BLESSING, which literally comes from SPRINKLING OR ANOINTING with THE SACRED CREAM, MILK, OIL OR BLOOD ONTO THE ALTER of sacrifice, or the sacrificial offering or CAKE!
THE VERY WORD CHRIST, COMES FROM BEING ANOINTED WITH THE SACRED CREAM, MILK, OIL, SEMEN!

Along with the consecration of fluids, the anointing created a feeling of bliss, thus being "blissed" equates to being "blessed." THE CONSECRETION OF THE SACRED FLUID
Along with the consecration of fluids, the anointing or the blessing, creates a feeling of bliss when applied to certain circumstantial contexts, thus being "blissed" equates to being "blessed."
The Gnostic Sperma Communion is the origin of the sacred anointing of the Chrism which means "milk, cream, oil mingled with balm" (sperm) in ancient Greek. Communion is the COMMON UNION, meaning WITH or TOGETHER as ONE. COM/ CUM is The phonemic word-forming element usually meaning "WITH, TOGETHER," from Latin COM, archaic form of classical Latin CUM "together, together with, in combination," from PIE *kom- "beside, near, by, with," as the Gnostic SPERMA COMMUNION.
bless (v.) Old English bletsian, bledsian, Northumbrian bloedsian "to consecrate by a religious rite, make holy, give thanks," from Proto-Germanic *blodison "hallow with blood, mark with blood," from *blotham "blood" (see blood (n.)). Originally a blood sprinkling on pagan altars.
L.R. Palmer ("The Latin Language") writes, "There is nothing surprising in the semantic development of a word denoting originally a special ritual act into the more generalized meanings to 'sacrifice,' 'worship,' 'bless,' " and he compares Latin IMMOLARE (see immolate).
This is why we still continue the tradition of IMMOLATING or baking the sacred cakes and buns in the oven.

The Cake of Light can be identified with the Sun!
"Cake of Light is the eucharistic host found within Thelema, the religion founded by author and occultist Aleister Crowley in 1904. It contains honey, oil, and particular bodily fluids (menstrual blood, semen, human feces and pee pee ), and is usually cooked in the shape of a small, flat wafer. It appears by name in two important Thelemic rituals: the Gnostic Mass and the Mass of the Phoenix. However, Crowley thought it was important for magicians to perform a eucharistic ritual of some kind daily (from Magick Book 4, Liber ABA, ch. 20):
"A Eucharist of some sort should most assuredly be consummated daily by every magician, and he should regard it as the main sustenance of his magical life. It is of more importance than any other magical ceremony, because it is a complete circle. The whole of the force expended is completely re-absorbed; yet the virtue is that vast gain represented by the abyss between Man and God.
The magician becomes filled with God, fed upon God, intoxicated with God. Little by little his body will become purified by the internal lustration of God; day by day his mortal frame, shedding its earthly elements, will become in very truth the Temple of the Holy Ghost. Day by day matter is replaced by Spirit, the human by the divine; ultimately the change will be complete; God manifest in flesh will be his name."
"For perfume mix meal & honey & thick leavings of red wine: then oil of Abramelin and olive oil, and afterward soften & smooth down with rich fresh blood.
The best blood is of the moon, monthly: then the fresh blood of a child, or dropping from the host of heaven: then of enemies; then of the priest or of the worshippers: last of some beast, no matter what.
This burn: of this make cakes & eat unto me. This hath also another use; let it be laid before me, and kept thick with perfumes of your orison: it shall become full of beetles as it were and creeping things sacred unto me."
Some commentators have interpreted this to mean that the "blood" component mentioned in the second portion of this quote may be formed from menstrual blood or semen.

The concept of the BUNS OF THE GODDESS comes by way of its qualities of BULGING, SWELLING AND RISING, as in the pregnant womb of the woman with her BUN IN THE OVEN, akin to hebrew BETHLEHEM "house of bread" which is why the womb is referred to as the "bread basket region," the part of your body below your belly button extending down to the end of your genital region and brings us back to the PRIMORDIAL MOUND, OF THE GODDESS, the baby bump, or the lady lumps, the MONS PUBIS as discussed above.
Let us not forget that the fertility of the BUNS relates to the BUTTOCKS, from Scottish BUN "TAIL (ASS) OF A HARE" (1530s), which gives us BUNNY "LUMP, SWELLING" from the root of bon, universally meaning "GOOD", which gives us BONNY (Bonnie) "very pleasing to the eye; delighting the senses or exciting intellectual or emotional admiration; "a bonny lass"; "a comely face"; "young fairmaidens"
which is why the BONNY lasses wear the BEAUTIFULL Easter BONNETS, from Old French BONET, from Latin BONITUM, linked to BONITA “PRETTY, LOVELY”), a diminutive of bueno (“good”), from Latin bonus (“GOOD”). This alludes to how the male "BONER" ties directly into these fertility rites of the sexxxy bunny as well, as portrayed in the images above !
BONUS:
BENE-"well, in the right way, honorably, properly," adverbial form of root *deu- (2) "TO DO, PERFORM; SHOW FAVOR, REVERE." From the same source come Latin bonus "good," bellus "HANDSOME, FINE, PRETTY," and possibly beatus (beautifull) "blessed," beare "to make blessed," takes us full circle to the GOOD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, BLESSED.

The word "bonbon" arose from the reduplication of the word bon, meaning "good" in the French language, thus it’s literally “SOME OF THAT GOOD-GOOD!”
And of course a BONITA is a TUNA FISH, literally "THE GOOD ONE" which again is exactly why we have GOOD FRIDAY, and the day of the EASTER GODDESS VENUS, is the day to EAT the FISH of the queen of heaven!

" The hot cross buns of GOOD Friday, and the dyed eggs of Pasch or Easter Sunday, were figured in the Chaldean rites just as they do now. The "buns," known too by that identical name, were used in the worship of the queen of heaven, the goddess Easter, as early as the days of Cecrops, the founder of Athens--that is, 1500 years before the Christian era.

The prophet Jeremiah takes notice of this kind of offering when he says, "The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven." *
* Jeremiah 7:18. It is from the very word here used by the prophet that the word "bun" seems to be derived. The Hebrew word, with the points, was pronounced Khavan, which in Greek became sometimes Kapan-os (PHOTIUS, Lexicon Syttoge); and, at other times, Khabon (NEANDER, in KITTO'S Biblical Cyclopoedia). The first shows how Khvan, pronounced as one syllable, would pass into the Latin panis, "bread," and the second how, in like manner, Khvon would become Bon or Bun. It is not to be overlooked that our common English word Loa has passed through a similar process of formation. In Anglo-Saxon it was Hlaf.
The hot cross buns are not now offered, but eaten, on the festival of Astarte; but this leaves no doubt as to whence they have been derived. The origin of the Pasch eggs is just as clear. "
